       Biography of an

                                                   Independent Financial Professional

       President and CEO Nikolaos Diakonis born in Athens Greece and self educated for the most part of his life with emphasis on Philosophy. He went on to study at the IFLS, das Institute for Learning Systems in marketing und design at the University in Hamburg W. Germany 1976.   Three years later he engaged in a Taxi entrepreneurial adventure solidifying his initial drive for an independent business of his own while studying.  1979 as the youngest Taxi entrepreneur in Hamburg Germany at the age of 21, he build his taxi-business up to three units and managed 7 drivers, 24/7.

       At the age of 24 he decided to use his marketing, sales experience and moved to the land of the Gods, Greece. By selling two of his Volvo taxi unites, he managed to create the capital to start his very successful new venture by distributing Austrian Crystals to the Mediterranean Islands and businesses.  The following two years where building a new business by offering various items like sculptured Crystals from Swarovski in Austria exclusively and musical diapers from Taiwan to the Greek market.  He founded the Diakonis World Enterprises (DWE) and worked as its president and CEO as an import & exporter selling primarily to the Greek Islands. A sales force of 34 employees throughout Greece helped him with his daily work in conducting all the needed business activities. Exported items in his business, were mainly sculptures and amphorae replicas to Western Germany, eventually. When he met his beautiful Greek-American-wife in Greece in the summer of 1984, he married later in1985 as decided to sell his exclusive distribution business with Swarovski Crystals as an import & exporter and grow his new family by moving to Chicago Illinois.  Initially he was working with his In-Laws in all of their business operations of their pizza business from food prep-work to cooking over to marketing as well as sales in their small bowling alley pizza parlor.  Their business was slowly going bankrupt before he got involved. 

       After a few years, recognizing various business factors and the mounting pressures of the family struggles, he conceived an idea about a neighborhood Restaurant-Sports Bar-Concept.  In sharing the idea with his in-laws and explaining the concept by using a free standing restaurant building and investing over $250K of his own money in this new venture, he attempted to liberate the whole family from this painful financial frictions. The implementation of his concept design by purchasing and providing the initial funds for the full liquor license, building a service center bar as well as all cosmetics designs and a point of sale computer system which need to launch the renewed restaurant operations.   

       It is needless to say that a phenomenal success followed for this family.  A virtually bankrupt family business, so called "White Elephant", transformed into a "Happening Place", with sales of over 1.5 million dollars of annual revenue today while adapted to his planning and foresights. This restaurant concept is still thriving under the same family management.  The financial pressure of the family Sports-Bar-Restaurant business was obviously finally lifted for good.

       Since 1995 he started in the financial securities industry and worked for 7 years as one of the top producers with Prudential of America in Des Plaines Illinois before becoming an independent agent and broker in 2002.  He is appointed with many top rated companies in the USA. He is fluent in German, Greek and English verbal and written as well as comfortable and sensitive to many other cultural communications.  His work and life revolves around philosophy, meditation, wellness or healing concepts and communication while helping people to reach their goals as well as his own.

Nikolaos is attending the University of Phoenix online with Axia College, since March of 2009 and is succeeding in "Information Technology and Web Design. The expectation is that he will receive his AA in January 2011. The repertoires of his knowledge are encompassing experience from Europe through America, while translating and illustrate various components between the physical and spiritual worlds.
